1.Nanda Devi Mandir

People from all over the country visit this temple, this is just 9 Km far from almora city( Kumaon) Uttarakhand , it is believed to be built by  Rai dynasty of Dhumakot around 15th century AD. People of Kumaon and nearby places have immense faith in the help one can get for relief from any kind of pain, humiliation and injustice.

People write their petitions or pleas on paper and tie them to the temple’s walls. It is believed that Golu Devta reads these letters and provides justice to the aggrieved parties. The decisions made by Golu Devta are considered final, and the locals have great faith in this system

 

4.Jhoola Devi Temple, Ranikhet

11 .BAGNATH TEMPLE

Bagnath Temple is a significant Hindu temple located in the town of Bageshwar in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva , The temple is situated on the banks of the Sarayu River, amidst the scenic beauty of the Himalayan foothills.

The name “Bagnath” is derived from two words: “Bagh” meaning tiger and “Nath” meaning lord. According to mythology, it is believed that Lord Shiva assumed the form of a tiger and resided in this place, hence the name. Bahnath Mandir complex houses the main shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva, along with several other smaller temples dedicated to various deities of the Hindu pantheon.

12 .BAIJNATH TEMPLE , Bageshwer (बैजनाथ मंदिर समूह, बागेश्वर)

This temple is cluster of 18 temple located in Baijnath on the Bank of Gomati River in Bageshwar District of uttarkhand.

The inception of Baijnath Temple can be traced back to the 12th century AD It was constructed by the Katyuri kings and is reputed to be one of the twelve Jyotirlingas (incarnations of Lord Shiva) . The temple exhibits the Nagara architectural style, distinguished by its lofty spires and ornamental motifs.
